We're glad to welcome Brian Lincoln to Nexigen as our new Chief Technology Officer.
Brian has spent more than 30 years in enterprise technology, with leadership roles at Google, Amazon Web Services, Accenture and Pomeroy. He has run large technology teams, managed business operations and worked alongside enterprise organizations as they moved to the cloud and modernized their IT. Before his corporate career, Brian graduated from West Point and served as an officer in the U.S. Army Signal Corps. He also earned his MBA at Northern Kentucky University, just up the road from our Newport home.
What Brian will focus on
Over the last few years, Nexigen has grown its team and revenue by focusing on managed technology, cybersecurity and AI services for mid-market and enterprise businesses, here in the region and around the country. Our clients are asking more of their technology every year, and the infrastructure underneath it has to keep up.
Brian will lead the expansion of our technology infrastructure practice. That means strengthening the systems we run inside Nexigen and the work we deliver for the more than 2,000 clients we've served over the past 20 years.
In their words
"Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky have an opportunity to be important contributors to the next generation of technology innovation," Brian said. "We can build sophisticated capabilities here, develop local talent, and help organizations across the country solve increasingly complex technology challenges. I'm excited to be part of a company that is investing in its people, its capabilities and its future."
"Brian brings a unique combination of leadership, operational discipline, and technology expertise to Nexigen," said Jon Salisbury, our CEO. "His experience leading large-scale technology initiatives will strengthen our ability to deliver secure and responsible outcomes for our clients."
What comes next
Brian joins at a busy time. We're developing a new campus and technology training center in Newport, and we expect to hire more than 85 technology and business professionals over the next three to five years. We've also expanded our AI security partnership with the University of Cincinnati and continued our commitment to giving back across the region.
All of it points in the same direction: building serious technology talent and capability right here in Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati.
